A minor league baseball team, Savannah Sand Gnats is based in Savannah, Georgia. Sand Gnats are the Single A minor league affiliate of the New York Mets baseball club. The Savannah Sand Gnats have played in the South Atlantic League since 1996. The team play their home games at Grayson Stadium that is located in the city’s beautiful Daffin Park.
The stadium was built in 1927 and seats 8000 people. The Savannah Sand Gnats baseball provides a relaxing pastime for both the tourists and people of Savannah.
